Stadiums that will host FIFA 2022 World Cup

Lusail Iconic Stadium, with a capacity of 80,000, will host 10 matches, out of which 6 will be group matches. The rest will be a match for every knockout and the final.

Al Bayt Stadium has a capacity of 60,000 and is the second-largest venue for the tournament. This stadium will host the opening game of the competition between Qatar and Ecuador.

Al Janoub Stadium has a capacity of 40,000 and will host six group matches, including some key encounters like France against Australia.

Al Rayyan has 3 stadiums, Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, and Education City Stadium, each with a capacity of 40,000.

Qatar’s capital Doha has two stadiums, Stadium 974 and Al Thumama Stadium, each with a capacity of 40,000.
